The past couple of weeks I've been prepping for this showcase, which was the last event I attended before the virus hit the US. I've got a couple of projects that I'm working that I'm really excited to share when they are ready but for the first time since I started attending SCBWI events that I don't feel self conscience about my portfolio. I'm really proud of it and I actually had a hard time deciding what to put in. In years and events past I just jam packed my portfolio with everything I could fit.
Since this event is virtual, it was the perfect opportunity to fix up and update the site and my SCBWI gallery. It's been a while since I did either of those things so, it was time for sure. There's a ton of great talks and seminars this weekend and I can't wait to see what happens next.
